George Gade, MD
- Board-certified and fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with extensive experience in brain injuries, insufficient cerebral blood flow (ischemia), and inflamed tissue caused by the return of blood flow to the brain (reperfusion).
- Bachelor's degree in natural science at the University of Pennsylvania in 1969
- Master's degree at UCLA School of Medicine, 1975 earning my medical degree in 1975.
- Internship in surgery in 1976, a residency in general surgery in 1978 and a residency in neurosurgery in 1983, all at UCLA. During that same period, I also pursued graduate studies in neuroscience at UCLA's Brain Research Institute, with an emphasis in cerebral ischemia and reperfusion.
