After receiving her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Iowa, Dr. Jones completed her Clinical Fellowship, followed by Research Fellowship at the Department of Medicine, University of Iowa Hospitals. Further training included a Research Fellowship in Clinical Immunology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Jones then went on to become an Assistant Professor of Oncology with the Department of Medicine, State University of New York at Buffalo, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of San Diego, CA, and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, University of California, San Diego, CA.

She joined private hospital practice because she wanted to practice in direct patient care. She has been an invited lecturer on the subject of her specialty, research and treatment of Breast Cancer, as well as all types of cancer, throughout the State. Dr. Jones also serves as Medical Director of North Star Lodge Medical Oncology, and as the Director of Clinical Trials at North Star Lodge.

Her commitment to our community has led her to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of Wellness House since 2003, and Past President of The Board at Wellness House.

Dr. Jones is devoted to caring for her patients while also enjoying a life outside of medicine as wife and mother. She enjoys a variety of activities with her family.
